Provided storage space for correspondence (size of email box)
Security of use (hacking protection and account access recovery system). This also includes protection from viruses in letters and from scammers (phishers). In addition, the confidentiality of working with the mailbox is also important, because your messages can be intercepted on the way to the mail server. In this case, the best option would be to operate an online email service using the HTTPS protocol (with encryption of transmitted traffic).

Email Mail.ru- the oldest service in RuNet. Several years ago, it underwent significant changes, which allowed it to compete on equal terms with its younger counterparts. Working with and managing correspondence does not cause any complaints - it is quite simple and effective. It is now possible to view letters received to all your Emails registered in Mail.ru in one window of the web interface, which is quite convenient.
In terms of security, after updating the service, it also became much better. The HTTPS protocol is used, and Kaspersky scans emails for viruses. In addition, there were many complaints about the stability of the service, and especially about ineffective spam cutting.
It also does not shine in terms of job safety. It seems that the HTTPS protocol is used (but the browser complains about the insecurity of working with this node), and everything else remains at the level of the turn of the century, when this brainchild of Rambler was born.
