Today we will consider the issues of choosing a way to manage your account in this payment system and describe in detail the registration of a wallet and login in case of using the Keeper Classic program.

We have not yet received such a method of payment for distribution, and this is probably partly to blame for the rapidly developing systems of electronic money, such as WebMoney.

Using this payment system, you can, for example, transfer money to a cell phone or make utility payments for an apartment. In this case, only the transfer fee (0.8%) will be deducted from you. Well, and there are many more things you can use it for and at the same time you will not need to go somewhere, stand in lines and endure other inconveniences.

You will only need to go through the registration procedure in the system, get a WMID (identifier) and log in to their site using the method you selected during registration. Well, and then all that remains is to transfer money from your wallet to the account of a seller or a company that provides the services you need (for example, a cellular operator).

Money transfer operations to WebMoney are completed in a few seconds. Now let's look at the issue of choosing a method of registration and login, as well as receiving and managing your wallet.

For registration you will need to click on the big "Register" button on their main page at the top left of the page.

At the first step, be sure to indicate your mobile phone number. This is done solely for security reasons - one-time passwords will be sent to this number to log in, confirm the transfer of funds, or to restore lost access to your account:

The WMID is unique for each user of the system, it is not secret (but nevertheless, write it down) and is the address of the participant in the WebMoney system, and also allows you to receive information about the owner of this WMID and contact him via the internal mail of the system. It should also be understood that it is not a requisite for receiving funds (for this you need to know the number of the wallet to which the transfer is made).

You can link as many keepers with your wallets to one and the same WMID. For receiving, transferring and withdrawing electronic money, WebMoney provides special wallets (tied to a specific WMID), but we will talk about them in the following articles devoted to this system.

But the interface in which you find yourself after the end of registration (login was automatic) is not, in my opinion, the safest way to work with this money.

Choosing a method of entering and working in the WebMoney system

Therefore, I advise you to immediately go to the "Settings" tab (see the previous screenshot) and activate this feature.

As you can see, there are four control methods in total, and now only one Mini is active. One of the ways to log into WebMoney is through the special Keeper Mobile software, designed exclusively for mobile phones and running either Java or Windows Mobile. I did not use this version of the keeper and therefore I will not be able to talk about working with it.

There are three other ways to log in using different versions of the Keeper, which are designed for different use cases for e-wallets:

Classic- is a program for the Windows operating system. In my opinion, Keeper Classic is the most convenient and reliable way to work with your WebMoney wallet. But there is one but. In order to log in from another computer, you will need to first install this program on it.

Those. this method of entering and working will be inconvenient for those who need to access their WebMoney wallet from multiple computers or even from an Internet cafe. Such users can take advantage of other methods, discussed below.

- you will be able to manage your electronic money through the web interface, but at the same time JavaScript must be enabled in the browser you are using.
This method of management is well protected, and therefore, in order to work from another computer, you will need to transfer the certificate to it to access your account.

Mini- the easiest way to manage your wallet in WebMoney (by default, after registration it will be active for you). It is implemented again through the web interface of a special online service of the WM system, but at the same time, the browser does not need to enable JavaScript support, no certificate is needed, and work with your wallet will be much faster than in the case of Keeper Light.

But at the same time, you are deprived of some opportunities and the safety of work is reduced. This control method is convenient to use when paying for goods and services, while access can be obtained from any computer, PDA or Internet cafe.

That. when registering in the WebMoney system, you are automatically connected to the Keeper Mini, which is undoubtedly the simplest, but not the most reliable way of managing. Therefore, on the page with the choice of the control method, you can click on the "Connect" button in the area with Keeper Classic.

Obtaining a formal WebMoney passport for your WMID

True, everything is not so simple here, because for this you will need to obtain a formal certificate in this system:

However, this is not difficult to do. Click on the link marked in the screenshot and you will be taken to the WebMoney-Passport page, where you will need to fill out a form to obtain a certificate of the lowest degree - formal.

To begin with, you will need to indicate all the required personal data, including passport (if you plan to use the wallet seriously and for a long time, then it is advisable to indicate real).

Please note that opposite those of your data that you do not want to flaunt, be sure to check the box "Do not show".

If you have filled in all the fields correctly, you will see an offer to go to the page of your formal passport, and a corresponding letter will be sent to your mail. Follow the specified link and see your details.

You can confirm authorization by entering the code from the SMS received on your cell phone. It is also possible to secure your account and all actions in it through the e-num protection system. How do I activate it?

Creation of e-num protection

Since you will need to download the e-num application for your mobile device, we will do it right away. Let's take an example of the Android operating system. We go to the Play Market and download the official application, and then launch it.

In the first window we see the button "Register now" - click on it. At the next stage, we indicate your email account (preferably the same as in WebMoney) and your mobile phone number. We enter the security code and continue.

The next item is the confirmation of the mailbox. Open your mail - and you will see an email confirming your registration in the e-num system. Click on confirmation. Then we return to the application and enter the code from the received message to the phone in the field.

The final stage will be authorization in the system. Enter your email address and the activation code from your account in the last window (it will also come in SMS). Do not delete it, you will need it if you lose access to the application. It is recommended to install a security code or pattern for the e-num application for greater security.

Linking two accounts is easy enough. Go to the security tab in your WMID settings. Then, in the e-num line, click on the connection. Enter your data in the system, confirm in the mobile application through a question-answer - and e-num will start to be used as protection.

We also recommend adding this security system to Confirmations. Thus, attackers will not be able to log into your WebMoney account, much less make payments without your confirmation via a mobile application.

The application of this security system is designed very competently and conveniently. If at the time of moving to this page your smartphone was on the network (Internet), then the application itself will notify you of such actions and offer to receive a number-answer. Enter it in the corresponding field and confirm the entry.

On the next page, you need to come up with a password for a new way to manage WMID. Remember that the password for the site will remain the one you specified during registration! So, we enter a new strong password and duplicate it. Click on the green button!

Key generation. These are electronic keys for managing your account in the system. They need to be downloaded as a single file, which weighs practically nothing. Attention! Proceed ONLY after successful download of electronic keys.

When you start the program for the first time, given that the user is working with it for the first time, there is no need to specify an electronic key file. They will be useful if you need to restore access to the identifier. At this stage, it is enough to enter your personal WMID and password for this control method.

Remember an important detail: the password for the electronic keys file is the same as for WinPro. If you reinstall the system or try to log in from another computer, even if you re-equip your own, the program will require the presence of electronic keys.

When you start it for the first time, an error may occur, as in the picture. Do not be afraid of possible problems. This is the usual confirmation of your actions. To do this, you need to go to the mail and copy the registration code from the letter from the WebMoney support service. You can go to the page specified in the error description directly from it or from an email.

Enter the code in the required field, and also enter the captcha correctly. In this case, the WMID should be filled in automatically. Click the activation button. Agree that you really want to activate Keeper on your hardware. Activation has now been completed successfully!

That's it - Keeper is created. Now you can manage electronic money through the program on your PC. All the functions of the usual method and even more are now available to you, a person who until recently did not even have an account with WebMoney.
