If you purchased HP Pavilion g6 with windows 8 and want to downgrade it to windows 7, you may encounter this error when trying to install windows 7:

"selected boot image did not authenticate."

So, what you have to do is enable Legacy boot in BIOS. Turn on your HP laptop and go to BIOS
and look at system configuration, change "legacy support" from Disable to Enable.
