Autocades Search and remove all occurrences of the block. How to remove a layer in autocada? Why not delete the layer? Analogue of standard removal

AutoCAD 2013 is a software product, highly demanding to operating system resources and hardware. When installing "Acad" reserves a place in a number of directories on a system local disk and in the volume on which the installation was made. In addition, AUTODESK programs make changes to the registry in its two branches and have license files in two directories on the local medium. When re-installed, the AutoCAD installer can detect the traces of staying the previous version on the computer and cannot correctly complete the installation, so from the previously installed program should be completely getting rid.

Preparation for removal

The uninstall procedure takes about 20 minutes and is very simple.
Before you start removing AutoCAD 2013 you need:

Disable antivirus software so that it does not block the deletion of executable files, libraries and editing the registry;
- Create a system recovery point;
- Create a backup copy of the system registry;
- Install the Microsoft FixiT utility for Windows;
- Complete all applications.

Full removal of AutoCAD 2013 and other versions

The first removal stage is carried out using the standard Windows Removal Utility. First, remove all additions to the AutoCAD program, then the CAD complex itself. The following is the removal of the program tools already installed fixit. After deletion, a request to reboot the system to be received.

Further removal of license files. They are posted in C: \\ ProgramData \\ Flexnet directors for Windows 7 or Windows Vista and C: \\ Documents and Settings \\ All Users \\ Application Data \\ Flexnet for Windows XP operating system. License files in both cases are named ADSKFLEX__TSF.DATA and ADSKFLEX__TSF.DATA.Backup.

After deleting the program on the hard disk, there are work folders of the program to be deleted manually. The best way to do is to search for folders on the system disk on Autodesk. Do not forget to clean the basket, or use the SHIFT + DELETE key combination when deleting.

In conclusion, you need to clear the TEMP folder on the system disk and remove the keys of the HKEY_CURRENT_USER \\ Software \\ Autodesk registry keys and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \\ SOFTWARE \\ Autodesk. Then it will be necessary to restart the computer, after which you need to create a new recovery point and a new backup of the registry, after which you can read AutoCAD 2013 completely remote from the computer.

Good day!

Frequently, users ask a question - what can be done with the file DWG.which came from another user? How to clean and optimize it to avoid problems when using it? Scribed - rewritten on this topic is no longer enough, I give my experience.

Indeed, even in a "decent" file created by all the rules and recommendations of the developer and in accordance with the experience of other sophisticated users, all sorts of garbage, unnecessary and unused elements are often found. The emergence of such unnecessary objects is inevitable, since when working with the file, it is necessary to cross the geometry several times, create temporary objects to study project solutions and much more. Naturally, something can be forgotten to remove. In addition, if the file was created in the "vertical" AutoCAD.or third parties, it may contain proxy objects and unnecessary data on these applications.

In the article, I tried to describe the maximum possible number of actions that can be done with a DWG file, in each particular case you need to watch which of them apply.

1. Remove the unused geometry

Description of the problem:

Remove all intermediate sketches from the drawing, the elements of study and so on. Often users forget to remove their drafts from ready-made files, get rid of them. Also remove the geometry, which by mistake may be away from the main part of the drawing.

Decision:

Dispose all layers, execute the command show all (double pressing the mouse wheel). If there is a remote geometry in the drawing, then you can immediately see it. Use Select all (Ctrl + A) To select all the drawing objects. After you select all objects, clamp the key Shift.and select those objects that you need. Everything else, not necessary, delete. Be careful! Team Choose all Selects objects that lie on the disconnected layers, so you delete all objects that do not see in the current state of the drawing, but which you may need.

2. Find and delete all invisible objects.

Description of the problem:

In the drawings, empty invisible objects may occur, such as points, empty strings, hidden empty attributes of blocks, invisible faces of three-dimensional objects, groups and disguise. They occupy a disk space and require time for their processing - remove them boldly!

Decision:

  • To search for hidden points, change their type of team. Dialt (_DDPTYPE)they will be visible

  • To remove empty strings, assign a variable QTEXTMode.value 1. In this case, all lines will be displayed as an empty frame, even empty. Do not forget to return the value of the variable to 0.
  • To display hidden attributes, enter the command ATEKR (_attdisp) And select the Enable option. In this case, all attributes are displayed on the screen, even hidden. Remove unnecessary. Be careful! In hidden attributes, the necessary information can be stored.
  • To display hidden edges and faces of 3D objects, assign a variable SPLFRAME.value 1. Remove unnecessary elements, such as control polygons for spirals, invisible edges of faces and networks, etc.
  • Run the team group dispatcher Group (_Group) or CLGRUP (_ClassicGroup) and remove unnecessary groups
  • To search for invisible disguise objects, turn on their team frames TFrames.from Express Tools or set the value of the variable WipeTFrame.\u003d 1 and remove unnecessary.

3. Remove repeated geometric objects, overlapping lines, arcs and polyline

Description of the problem:

During the drawing and changing drawing, overlapping lines, repeating objects and other unnecessary objects are often formed. Summary is not visible, but in reality there are many of them in each drawing. Clean the drawing from unnecessary graphic garbage.

Decision:

Use the command Save (_Overkill) To remove duplicate or overlapping lines, arcs and polylines. In addition, the team combines partially overlapping or adjacent elements.

4. Remove unused layers

Description of the problem:

Often in the drawings there are layers, on which there is nothing. Remove them. If the layer is not deleted, then there is something on it, or it is frozen in some kind of type screen. Check the condition of the layer in all species screens, it is very often impossible to remove the empty layer due to the fact that it is frozen in the species screen.

Decision:

  • Use the command LayMrG (_LayMRG) For fusion of the layers. After the fusion, the empty layer is removed from the drawing
  • To remove a layer on which there are objects, use the command Locking (_Laydel).
  • In order to understand whether layers are used, set the variable ShowLayerusage.value 1. In this case, the list of layers will display icons indicating whether layers are used. Important! Do not forget to disable the display because it slows down the system.

5. Remove unused layers filters

Description of the problem:

Remove unused layers filters. Even if you previously removed unnecessary layers, then the filters in which they appeared will remain.

Decision:

Run the command Filters (_Filters) And remove unnecessary filters.

6. Remove the unused and extra design styles

Description of the problem:

In almost every drawing there are unused text, dimensional, tabular styles, mulite styles, multilony, sections, remote elements and printing. Get rid of them. Be careful if you may remove the style that is setting up a corporate template and can come in handy in the future!

Decision:

To remove unused styles, use the command Clear (_purge)

7. Delete unused blocks, types of lines, shape, etc.

Decision:

To delete unused objects, also use the command. Clear (_purge). Starting with the AutoCAD 2015 version, this command also allows you to delete groups, empty text strings and data that came from DGN files (from the MicroStation system from Bentley). If you have an autocad earlier than 2015, use the AutoCAD DGN HotFix utility for versions 2013 and 2014, or third-party utilities for deleting garbage from DGN files.

8. Check the file for errors

Description of the problem:

Check the drawing database for errors

Decision:

Use the command to check Check (_audit). If errors are detected in the file, use the drawing recovery command Restore (_recover) For their correction.

9. Remove the history of three-dimensional bodies

Description of the problem:

When building three-dimensional bodies in AutoCAD, it is possible to maintain the history of their construction (system variable SOLIDHIST.). However, this data is strongly "dried" the drawing and lead to a slowdown in work. Remove the story if you do not plan to edit the bodies.

Decision:

You can do it with the help of the command Slopred (_Brep)It allows you to remove a magazine from three-dimensional and composite bodies, as well as cancel the associative surfaces.

10. Delete information about registered applications.

Description of the problem:

If you enrolled the file created in any "vertical" autocad, for example, AutoCAD Mechanical, then it may contain data about this program. Delete this data, they occupy a place and slow down work with the file.

Decision:

To delete registered applications data, enter the command -Purge (-_purge), Select the option Zaregprew (_regapps) and press ENTER. If the command finds data on registered applications, it will be released on their removal.

11. Remove the geometric and dimensional dependencies

Description of the problem:

When constructing parametric sketches and drawings, users create geometric and dimensional dependencies. If you do not need parametrization in this drawing, you can delete these dependencies.

Decision:

Use the command Removal (_delconstrain)It allows you to remove all geometric and dimensional dependencies from the set of objects.

12. Remove unused proxy primitives and proxy objects

Description of the problem:

If the drawing was created with the use of third-party applications for AutoCAD, or in the "vertical" AutoCAD, then it will contain many proxy primitives, some of which is hidden. Proxy primitives are used in AutoCAD and other applications instead of third-party objects created using the Objectarx application if the last is not available. In the future, when the application becomes affordable, proxy primitives and proxy objects are replaced by third-party objects.

Decision:

Assign a variable ProxyShow. Meaning 2, then all proxy primitives are displayed in the form of a limiting frame. Remove unnecessary. More The removal process is described in the document Alexey Kulik in paragraph No. 5, I will not repeat.

13. Delete unused scale

Description of the problem:

When working with annotative objects, the user creates a lot of annotations, some of which is ultimately unused. Delete extra.

Decision:

Use the command -Scalelistedit (-_scalelistedit), Select the option Deleteand enter *. All unused scales will be deleted.

14. Delete geoposition data

Description of the problem:

In modern versions of AutoCAD, there was an opportunity to include data on geoposition in the drawing so that it can be attached to a specific place on the map. Delete the geoposition data if you do not plan to use them.

Decision:

Use the command Dellegeo (_Georemove)to delete from the drawing file of all information about the geographic location.

15. Do not dismeceve mindless blocks

Description of the problem:

Often meeting users who, with the first opportunity, dismember the blocks in foreign drawings, motivating this by the fact that no one knows that there are in these blocks and how they are made, and the dismembered geometry can be corrected easily and quickly, not afraid to spoil the whole drawing when changing Block. On the one hand, everything is true, since when you change the block, you can incorrectly choose, for example, the base point, in this case all the occurrences of the block will change and the drawing will be in disrepair. On the other hand, the blocks will significantly save memory - if in one block 10 primitives and this unit is inserted 100 times, then you will work with 110 primitives. If all these blocks are dismembered, then you will have to work with 1000 primitives, each of which is a bunch of parameters. Therefore, do not rush to mind all the blocks thoughtlessly.

Decision:

If you really need to make changes to the block, copy it to a new file, experiment with it, and then make changes to the source file.

Separate history - dynamic blocks. They need to be doubly attentive, since their dismemberment is practically guaranteed to damage the file.

16. Make a drawing flat

Description of the problem:

Often the drawing contains three-dimensional objects. If the user is turned on top view, it simply will not see these objects and will be attached to 3D objects when drawing. As a result, it is not a drawing, but a set of features that have different coordinates along the Z axis. To avoid such a situation, it is necessary to make a flat drawing. Such drawings can "exit" from programs working with volumetric objects, for example, floor plans from AutoCAD Architecture, the results of the top cover from AutoCAD Civil 3D. Check the drawing for three-dimensional objects easily - turn it with a three-dimensional orbit or species cube.

Decision:

Use the command Flatten.from the EXPRESS Tools package. When using tool Flatten.a 2D representation of the selected objects is created, which are projected to the current plane of the species. The result of the work is 2D objects, where possible, which preserved the source layers, types of lines, colors and types of objects. This will allow you to avoid creating a drawing with a binding of primitives to three-dimensional objects.

In addition, you can choose all geometric objects and using the Properties window to set the value of the coordinate z equal to 0.

Conclusion

All listed receptions for cleaning and preparing the file can be useful to users in their daily activities when you need to clear DWG files. In reality, of course, all these ways simultaneously use no need, it is enough to apply a few.

If you want to automatically clean the file, then use the AKA KPBLC Aka Kpblc program. In detail about it in his blog.

UPD: Added to the post deleting geoposition data and corrected the point to remove unused geometry. Thanks to the colleagues Alexei Kulika, Evgenia Elpanov, Alexander Rilvisu and Naboshe Novkovich for help and tips. Thanks friends!

2.2.2. Removing individual drawing objects with the tool erase

Now we consider an example of creating the same drawing, but already in relative polar coordinates. However, you first need to remove previously created drawing objects. To do this, you can use the already familiar command to you. Erase In mode EverythingHowever, this time we will look at the use of the tool Erase To remove individual drawing objects.

1. Select the command from the menu system Change? Erase. The pointer will change the shape from the crosshair to a small square called announcement pointer. When it appears on the screen, this means that the pointer can be used to select the drawing objects. Also also pay attention to the command window: you have a request to select objects.

2. Place the indicating pointer on one of the lines and click the line - the line will turn from the solid to dotted. This process is called the highlight of the drawing objects.

Note. In order for you to be easier to understand, on which line there is a noting pointer, AutoCAD temporarily highlights it with a thickened circuit. In our case, this is not essential, but it greatly simplifies the task of selecting the necessary objects.

3. Do the same with the rest of the lines.

4. Press ENTER to complete the selection and apply to the dedicated command objects. Erase. The quadrangle you created will be removed from the drawing, and the execution of the command Erase Complete.

Each user when working in AutoCAD faces the problem when the drawing file is inflated to incredible sizes. Sometimes the file size can reach 60 ... 70 MB, while it draws several floor layouts.

One of the means of dealing with "large" files is the clearance of the drawing. Team Save (_Overkill) Allows you to remove repeated geometric objects, overlapping lines, arcs and polyline from the drawing.

This unconditional useful command allows you to remove invisible objects that are fruit in huge quantities when working with a pattern. For example, segments lying on each other, segments lying on one straight line and relating to each other at the end point. Such objects are often created unintentionally, and for the convenience of work - indentation from the object, the continuation of the object, etc. But when they become much, they slow down work significantly.

The team works both with preliminary and subsequent choice. In the command window available:

Tolerance . The smaller the value of admission, the more accuracy must match objects to remove one of them. So, for example, if the tolerance is zero, then two segments must be absolutely the same and lie on each other in order to retreave one of them.

Ignore the property of the object. The selection of these options avoids the removal of the same objects, which have only color, layer, line type, lines type scale, lines weight, height, transparency, print style or material. For example, if you have on a floor plan in the wall layer walls, the walls are drawn, and the Wire and Line of the walls and wires are drawn in the "Electrician" layer, then when you start the command to resist one of the segments, which will be incorrect from the point of view of the project. By turning on the ignore layer option, you can avoid this situation.

Parameters.

  • Optimize segments in multi. When this option is turned on, in each polyline, arcs and segments included in it are analyzed (unnecessary vertices are removed).
  • Ignore the width of the multiline segments. This option helps to avoid combining two polyline segments with different widths.
  • Do not break off the polyline. When submitted with the included option, the initial polyline will not be broken even when removing unnecessary segments and vertices.
  • Combine partially overlapping collinear objects. Objects that overlap will be combined into one object repeating the initial geometry.
  • Combine collinear objects aligned by end to the end. The option is similar to the previous one, but acts on on overlapping, but on concerning objects.
  • Save associative objects. When the option is enabled, the associative objects do not change and are not deleted.

Several examples of teamwork results

Polyline optimization by removing unnecessary vertices

Cutting lines is one of the large number of mechanical actions performed when drawing. For this reason, it should be quick, intuitive, and at the same time not distract from work.

This article will describe an easy mechanism for circumcision lines in AutoCAD.

How to trim the line in autocad

In order to trim the lines in the autocada, there must be lines in your drawing. We will remove those parts of the lines that are not needed after the intersection.

1. Instruct objects with intersecting lines, or open the drawing in which they are present.

2. On the tape, select "Home" - "Editing" - "Trim".

Please note that on one button with the "Trim" command is the "Extend" command. Select the drop-down list.

3. Allocore all objects that will be involved in trimming are alternately. Upon completion of this action, click "Enter" on the keyboard.

4.Dine the cursor to the segment you want to delete. It will become darker. Click on it with the left mouse button, and part of the line will be cut off. Repeat this operation with all unnecessary segments. Click "Enter".

If you are uncomfortable to press the "ENTER" key, call the context menu in the working field by pressing the right mouse button and select "Enter".

To cancel the last action without leaving the operation itself, press "Ctrl + Z". To leave the operation, click "ESC".

It was the easiest fast way to trim the lines, let's see how else the autocad is able to crop lines.

1. Repeat items 1-3.

2. Pay attention to the command line. Select "Line" in it.

3. Draw the frame to which the cut parts of the lines should fall into the area. These parts will become dark. When you finish the construction of the area, the fragments of the lines that fall into it will be automatically deleted.

Pulling the left mouse button you can draw an arbitrary area for more accurate objects.

With this method, you can cut several lines with one action.
