Effects are called various special effects, which, depending on the algorithm embedded in them, make certain actions, whether it is a change in the brightness and contrast of the clip, or a change in its transparency. It is good because it allows you to change different effect parameters. This, in turn, opens the limitless possibilities of working with the image of the film.

In the Adobe Premiere program, all effects are divided into built-in and standard.

Built-in are such effects that are originally assigned to any default clip. These include: the effect of transparency (opacity), movement (motion) and speed (Time Remapping) - for video clips, and the volume effect (VOLUME) is for audio. You can view them by clicking on the name of one of them in the clip header (see below):

Standard - these are the effects that we ourselves add to the clips manually. They are divided into Video Effects (video effects) and Audio Effects (audio effects). All of them can be viewed in the Effects Library on the Effects panel:

By the way, I would like to say a few words about the Effects panel. All effects and transitions on the Effects panel are scattered in folders, for the disclosure of which you just need to click on a small gray triangle. At the top of the Effects panel there is a search field. Very comfortable thing when you know the name of the effect, but do not know which folder it is located. In addition to all this, the program developers provided us with the ability to create folders with frequently used effects and transitions. To do this, click on the image of a small folder in the lower right corner of the panel and the folder will be created.

So, you have chosen the effect you need on the Effects panel. In order to apply it to your clip, you need to simply transfer it to Timeline, to that clip to which you want to apply this effect.

Here we see all the effects that are applied to this clip. They are divided into two groups: Video Effects and Audio Effects. In addition to the default effects, the BRIGHTNESS & CONTRAST (brightness and contrast) effect is located here, which we added in the previous paragraph.

Click on the gray triangle to the left of the effect name in the Effect Controls window to deploy an invested list of parameters.

Moving the slider, adjust the effect settings. The Adobe Premiere program has a huge number of effects. Some of them have only one parameter to configure, and some can be as many as 20. So you can easily configure any effect "for yourself" oriented with the frame in the Program window.

As you probably already guessed, several effects can be applied to the clip. Their use is made in the order in which they are located in the Effect Controls window. Sometimes the procedure for use of effects significantly affects the formation of the final image of the film. In cases where the order of effects does not suit you, it is possible to change it by usual dragging.

If you applied to the clip any effect, and it does not suit you, you can delete it simply by selecting it on the Effect Controls panel and pressing the Delete key.

Sometimes it happens that you drove for different sliders, here something has changed something, there something changed something and turned out some garbage. Then you sit and think: how to return everything to the initial look, and here it is not better for us to suit the Resset's saving button, which will return all the effect settings in the first state.

If you need to disable the effect without deleting it, you can use the Toggle The Effect OR OFF button (Enable or Disable Effect). It is located on the left on behalf of the effect. By clicking on it, the pictogram will disappear and the effect will be disabled.

It happens that after adding an effect to the clip, the program does not have time to calculate it and the red band appears on the clip. As I wrote in previous articles - this means that you need to additionally visualize this segment. To do this, set the workspace using the working area band and execute the Sequence \u003d\u003e Render Work Area command or simply press the ENTER button.

In this article, we looked at static effects and their settings. There is also a concept as dynamic effects, but with them I will introduce you to.

This time the easiest way is considered. So, we apply to the group of selected clips, effects: Blur in Gaussia and black and white.

Now, go to the project window. Copy the sequence and call it for example: a copy of_skvent.

And in the window: Delete effects, leave the dawn only for the video effect item and click on the button: OK.

We look at the picture in the program window, without the use of effects. Since the above method described, you can delete all the effects, not selective.

Now open the sequence: a copy of the_Sikvent, allocate all clips (Ctrl + A).

Perform a command: Edit\u003e Copy (Ctrl + C).

Open the main sequence, select all the clips and execute the command: Edit\u003e Insert attributes (Ctrl + Alt + V).

In the Insert Attributes window in the Effects list, remove the daw before the effect: black and white. And click on the button: OK.

We look at the result: In the panel, the effects control elements remained the Blur effect on Gauss.

Now you can delete the sequence in the project window: a copy of_sekvent. If necessary, you can save a project with two siques under a different name (for the possibility of kickback).
