Registration for the conference “Secondary vocational education. International Scientific and Practical Conference "Modern Professional Education: Experience, Problems, Prospects.

The company "Balazt SPO" took part in the specialized exhibition "Import Substitution-2018", which took place on September 11-13 in Moscow. Visitors to the exhibition saw and "in combat mode" tested domestic hardware and software systems, most of which work on the basis of the ALT family of operating systems of the company "Basalt SPO". More than 20 working models of domestic software stacks designed to automate various business and production processes of organizations were demonstrated at the collective stand of the participating companies of the ARPP "Domestic Soft". The software stacks were presented in the form of standard automated workstations, created taking into account the requirements of the Russian regulatory framework and typical work scenarios for employees of organizations and enterprises. Among them - "Workplace of a civil servant", "Core of corporate communications", "Automation of MFC work", "Workstation of an enterprise management system", "Platform for server virtualization and distributed data storage", Information leakage detection ", etc.

The tasks to be solved by the developers of domestic software were discussed at the conference “Import Substitution in IT. Domestic software solutions ”, which took place within the framework of the exhibition. The conference was attended by the heads of Russian companies, whose software products have a long and successful history of application in organizations and enterprises: Basalt SPO, EOS, Rosplatforma, Postgres Professional, Foresight, Galaktika Corporation, Visiology, BFT, VideoMost, EME, New cloud technologies ”, Communigate Systems, InfoWatch, Digital Design, InterTrust, URSA Technologies,“ Atom Security ”, Setec, Zecurion. The experts agreed that the main task today is to ensure the compatibility of domestic software products of different classes.

“The country already has an extensive pool of domestic software products. Now it is necessary to ensure their technological compatibility, and this work must be put on a permanent basis, - said Alexey Smirnov, General Director of Basalt SPO. - By joint efforts of software developers, we must create a domestic software platform - a kind of "constructor", from which customers or system integrators will be able, at their discretion, to form sets for the automation of workplaces. "Basalt SPO" is ready to apply in this work its practical and methodological developments obtained during the implementation of our corporate Program of technological support for domestic software developers - in terms of integrating software products, organizing regular testing for compatibility, etc. "

In his report, Alexey Smirnov said that the life cycle of the ALT OS is provided on the domestic repository and the domestic development infrastructure, which makes it possible for operating systems to work on domestic equipment; on work on ensuring compatibility with the ALT OS of application software, on the risks and difficulties of integrating domestic software.

Alexey Malkov, Director of Quality Management at EOS, emphasized in his speech that software stacks should not include any software products that are declared by developers as domestic, but software that has been tested by time and has won authority in the domestic market. First of all, this concerns basic elements such as operating systems and databases: “Our company, as a vendor of the Business Office Solutions complex, is responsible to the customer for the reliability of not only its own electronic document management system, but also the operating system integrated with it and other software solutions. Therefore, formal compliance with the criteria that apply to domestic software is not yet a sufficient condition for inclusion in our stack. The product developer must provide such critical conditions for customers as continuous support for the life cycle of his product, security and an advanced technical support system. Therefore, as a vendor, we are impressed by the ALT operating system from the Basalt SPO company, which has its own development infrastructure and a large team of highly qualified programmers. "

Ivan Panchenko, Deputy General Director of Postgres Professional, noted that customers need not just domestic software products, but modern software that is not inferior in functionality to foreign solutions: “We can already have high national competence today, without becoming isolated from global IT -communities. This problem can be solved by using free software components in the creation of domestic software products and the participation of Russian programmers in international open source software projects ”.

Ivan Vakhmyanin, General Director of Visiology, suggested making it a rule to regularly hold events where domestic software developers could meet with customers and colleagues: “An event in the format of joint solutions is an excellent practice that needs to be developed. The topic of the conference "Secondary vocational education: practice and management", in the organization of which the Presidential Academy is taking part, has been approved. Event will be held on November 16-17 in St. Petersburg.

Experts from the specialized structures of Veliky Novgorod, Kazan, Moscow, Minsk, St. Petersburg, Khanty-Mansiysk and other centers for the development of education have begun to form the program of the conference on SPE.

The faculty of open source software at ITMO University (St. Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics) takes an active part. The university is a recognized national and international center for the development of models and technologies for the "digital economy", while the leadership of the university and the faculty consider the problems of secondary vocational education as a direction of strategic development.

The Department of Journalism of Kazan Federal University is discussing the issue of training personnel for the communication system and other areas with the involvement of the potential of open source software in the agenda of the XI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Information Field of Modern Russia: Practices and Effects" (Kazan, October 16-18). It is planned to activate the system of secondary vocational education in the formation of the national media policy, including through the creation of media centers on the basis of colleges and technical schools. The results of the Kazan forum on the topic under consideration are planned to be presented in St. Petersburg at the SPO conference.

The Center for Innovation in the Social Sphere of the Novgorod Region plans to include the development of cooperation with organizations of secondary vocational education among the priority areas of its activities, the integration of the regional open source asset into the development of social entrepreneurship in the region.

Leading experts of the Analytical Center for the Government of the Russian Federation, NFPK, FIRO and other metropolitan structures have already announced their participation in the conference with reports at the plenary and breakout sessions.
